This boat was built for a family that has an island cabin on Lake Vermillion. The owners contacted Lake Assault wanting us to build them a ruggedized pontoon. Well, we do not really like the performance characteristics of pontoons, so we worked with the customer and designed a Landing Craft that would better fulfill his needs. The boat has a 16 degree dead rise with a delta pad. The boat jumps right up on plane and will get to 51 mph and cruise at 40 mph at 4200 RPM. The drop down bow is 60" wide and there are 30" swim doors with ladders on each side of the boat. There is a ski rack with 3 ski rings. Not a lot of foo foo here, just a lot of rugged vessel that will provide years of enjoyment for the owners.
